Senior Accounts Executive / Asst Manager

Job Description:

A person in this role should independently handle all the below tasks and responsible.

  1. Finalisation of accounts (Including Tally, Registers, Box Files) with management before inviting the auditors.
  2. Co-ordination with the statuatory Auditors of the company for finalization of Annual Accounts.
  3. Receivable monitoring and timely raising of invoices with co-ordination with sales team.
  4. Monthly payroll processing on a timely basis along with correct computation and payment of statuatory dues associated with payrolls
  5. TDS tracking, computation and timely payment of TDS to IT department filing of Quarterly TDS returns.
  6. Office cash expenses forecasting and management including petty cash and stationary etc. Ensure work does not stop due to lack of cash.
  7. High standards of record writing, keeping and tracking.
  8. Record Keeping: Mantain proper paper and system based documents related to accounts. Meticulously ensuring all the expenses are supported by documents.
  9. Record Writing: Detailed and accurate narrations for better MIS and future reference, including summary sheets
  10. Record Tracking: Expert users of tally and update all transactions efficiently into Tally.
  11. Follow up with bank for credits for remittance received from abroad – providing inward remittance declaration for RBI and following up in timely manner to get best exchange rate.
  12. Create weekly and monthly expense budgets and monitor spending vs budget.
  13. End of year providing tax planning and also the accurate picture of financial situation in timely manner in JFM for tax planning purposes especially advance taxes. Avoid Late fees / Interest.
  14. Follow-up for invoices are raised on time for projects by sales department and update the situation to the management.
  15. Recommend and implement ways to cut wasteful expenses and reduce operating costs.
  16. Provide monthly MIS and financial statements to monitor financial health of the company.
  17. Co-ordinate and communicate with internal departments of the company for matters concerned with accounts function.
  18. Audit the accounting work of someone functionally reporting to you on accounts related work like petty cash, office stationery etc.
  19. Efficiently work and enable the managers to plan on more important works to grow the company.
  20. Promptly and correctly process the payments to vendors.
  21. Candidate: Relatively small amount of transactions but an exposure to variety of accounts areas. Opportunity to grow with the organization.
  22. Monitor FD Renewals and ensure they are renewed at best possible rate by changing banks or adjusting tenure.
